 Help for Dogs with Newly Diagnosed Seizures
Berkeley Dog & Cat Hospital is enrolling dogs with newly diagnosed epilepsy in a clinical trial evaluating a new drug developed for the control of seizures. This FDA-regulated study is funded by a major animal health pharmaceutical company.
• Dogs must be at least 4 months of age and weigh 11 lbs. (5kg) or greater
• No prior or current treatment with any anti-seizure medication (including potassium bromide)
• NO previous history of seizure clusters or status epilepticus
• Not pregnant or suspected to be pregnant
Client Benefits
• Free medical evaluation and testing for dogs
• Free CT Scan or MRI for dogs over 5 years of age
If dog is enrolled
• Free medication for dogs ( investigative drug or FDA-approved positive control)
