Dr. Samantha Zaplinski is originally from New Jersey and is excited to have recently re-located to beautiful and sunny California. She spent 4 years in Tucson at the University of Arizona graduating with a degree in Biology and Chemistry in 2002. After she attended veterinary school at St. George's University and completed her clinical training at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine graduating in 2007. She graduated with honors and was asked to be part of the Phi Zeta Honor society for her accomplishments. Dr. Zaplinski has been doing emergency medicine since graduation and takes a special interest in small animal emergency medicine, internal medicine and public health and preventative medicine. She is a current member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, California Veterinary Medical Association and Emergency and Critical Care Society.
In her free time Dr. Zaplinski is out hiking, camping or jogging with her wonderful border collie Shiloh, traveling abroad as much as possible, cooking, biking or enjoying all there is to do in San Francisco and the East Bay.
