Dr. Kristina Sirkis

Dr. Kristina Sirkis was born in Russia and spent most of her childhood in the small town of Bender of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. She moved to Brooklyn, NYC with her family as a teenager and received her veterinary degree at the Royal Veterinary College in London. During her final year in veterinary school, Dr. Sirkis explored her varied interests by completing a zoo externship at Johannesburg zoo and emergency and ophthalmology externships at AMC in Manhattan. Dr. Sirkis moved to the Bay Area after completing 7 years as an emergency and a general practice veterinarian in New York. She has a special interest in feline medicine and in providing a fear free experience to all her patients. She is honored and excited to be a part of the team at the Berkeley Dog and Cat and looks forward to meeting you and your animal family.

Outside of work, Dr. Sirkis spends most of her time outdoors, climbing, skiing, mountain biking, and traveling.
